Delicate and poetic, the PIO collection features sets of stripes, each unique to each individual model in the range. Set against a background of white enamel, the rim of the dessert plate is a combination of cream hues and raw black lines. 

The PIO is the perfect plate for serving all your favourite summer desserts, from seasonal tarts to fresh fruit salad. Made from terracotta, the PIO is hand thrown on a potter’s wheel according to a tried-and-true technique. It is then fired in a ceramic kiln before being dipped in white enamel and hand painted with its signature motifs. Finally, it is fired in the ceramic kiln once more. It is only after the re-firing that the final colours are revealed, vibrant and unique each time. 

The PIO pairs perfectly with the Rooibos VAHANA tablecloth and the WAY tableware to create a striking contrast of colours, or with the Laurel NOE napkins.
