Bedcover hand-woven cotton

The MELI MELO bedspreads are a patchwork of 4 different cotton fabrics, each woven by hand. The different cotton panels come together in a cheerful blend of prints and colours. A truly artistic composition, a contrasting topstitch finishes the patchwork design, enhancing the piece as a whole. 

As the MELI MELO is lightly padded, a slight quilted effect adds to its charm. On the back, the simpler composition features only two prints. A number of skills are required to make this piece, including hand weaving and the traditional Indian Khanta art of embroidery. 

The only question left is which colour to choose. In creating your bed setting, we suggest matching the Black and White with the classic shades of Snow, Off White, Lead or Cement, the Rosewood with the hues of Breath, Dawn or Apricot and the Day Sky with the colours of Agave, Shore or Cobalt.
