With their understated appearance, evocative of a clear blue sky, the KOTERRA salad bowls make us long for sprawling summer tables set under a gentle breeze. 

The particularity of the KOTERRA collection lies in the use of a skilfully mastered technique that creates a seemingly spontaneous effect. 

Each piece is shaped entirely by hand, without the aid of any machine, before being left to dry for several days. 

Next, the piece is englobed, that is to say, covered with a mixture of white clays, which add texture to the design. 

The edges are then gently wiped to enhance the delicacy of the border and reveal the colour of the raw earth. 

Finally, an enamel is applied before the piece is fired one last time to complete the creation.
