Today, the term 'khādī' refers to a traditional weaving technique, used to create a fabric of exceptional thickness and density that has been spun and woven by hand.

This bedspread, the Khadi, was so named, as it tells a story. In India, khadi holds great sentimental value: Mahatma Gandhi wore khadi as a symbol of resistance for his people and as an embodiment of the beauty of savoir-faire and the value of tradition.

The Khadi bedspread is made from heavy, almost felted-looking cotton. The slight irregularities in the weave captures the beauty of hand-crafted pieces.

A bedspread that cools in summer and warms in winter ... magical whatever the season.
