SUMMER BED
What is your role at Caravane? I have been working at Caravane for 18 years and i'm now the store manager of Caravane's Bastille La Maison in Paris.
In just a few words, a Caravane bed is...? Beautiful - Cosy - Casual and Light!
Linen or cotton? Cotton, preferably, if only for Caravane's wonderful cotton voile, which is so perfect and lovely in the summer.
A favourite colour? Indigo, definitely - that's my colour!
How would you describe a summer bed by Caravane? Wonderfully soft and light. This is especially true of the new Jardin Eden collection, which pairs perfectly with a Shirt counterpane or a summer sheet. It's all about cool freshness!
Any device on accessorising a bed? A counterpane or a plaid throw. By mixing colours and playing around with materials, it's easy to create a unique and whimsical bed that works whatever the season.
Your Caravane essential? It's impossible to pick, but if i had to choose two: The silk duvet, it's marvellously lightweight and soft - just fabulous. And the houndstooth throw plaid, whether draped on a sofa or at the foot of a bed, it's a Caravane must-have.
