Don’t be taken in by its understated appearance: made from 100% cotton, the size of the Ikat clutch allows it to be stashed anywhere while its four tassels brighten up the weave, adding a casual touch to the design ... And yet, the Ikat is also a treasure of artisanal craftsmanship.

The exceptional weave is a work of rare savoir-faire.

Each piece was crafted using the Ikat technique:

· The artisan first dyes the yarn for the weft.

· It is only as the yarn is woven that the drawing begins to appear in juxtaposition;

· And it is not until the weaving is complete that the composition is fully revealed. Indigo dots, Turmeric dots, Snow-white stripes and dots … Each and every dot—organic in form and truly unique—is created progressively. The end result is both surprising and hypnotic.
