Whether serving as a carafe on a dinner table or as a vase displaying beautiful floral arrangements, the TIGRE carafe stands out ...
After being thrown on a pottery wheel, the piece is fired in a kiln, before being immersed in engobe (a white slip-like coating). It is then delicately painted by hand with its signature motif, before being re-fired in the kiln one last time to harden and reveal the final colours, which always vary slightly from one piece to the next.
Combine it with pieces from the BARRO range to create charming combinations of complementary colours.
A hand-printed block pouch will be slipped into evey order containing a product from the Tiger collection. Within the limits of available stocks.

Terracotta is a porous material that keeps cool well, so, if you use it as a carafe, there is no need to add ice cubes.
The base may become slightly damp the first time you use it; however, the clay gradually strengthens over time. Still, take care if you do decide to use it as a vase, and ensure you use a support to protect the delicate surface.
